Here’s the story, of a lovely lady (Nicole) who was creating a special day for her son.  He was turning two years old, what a wonder.  Now, how to make it fun?!

‘Till the one day when this lady sought out Garnish.  And she knew it was much more than a hunch.  That with Garnish by her side, not a problem.  That’s the way it all became a Garnished brunch!

A Garnished brunch.  A Garnished brunch.  Here’s the way Nicole created her Garnished brunch. Bump-ump-ump-da-dump!

For her brunch service she used the white rectangular box to hold all the food groups.  An outdoor hot chocolate bar, using the beverage box and white cups with lids, served up the bevies.  Party favors, magic nuddles, were sent home in the squat gable boxes on which she tied directions and a sponge.  And to keep all those little hands entertained, Nicole filled the plastic deli containers with homemade scented playdough.

Nicole, you did the Garnish bunch proud and so happy and honored that we were a little part of your son’s big day.

Garnish + Enjoy

moderation

It’s that time of year.  You know, that time. They’re  everywhere, playing with our minds.  All things diet and exercise, have us by our marionette strings.  All things fresh and new, are the bow to our fiddle.

Well, I say…phoey to it all!  Don’t get me wrong, I support a healthy lifestyle.  But I don’t think that healthy needs to be boring.  I believe in a little something called moderation my friends.  Okay, well honestly it’s more like I’m hiding behind that word because I have zero will power.  So for me, moderation is a necessity. But here’s the thing.  I love to bake, especially with my children.  I also love to fit into my skinny jeans (without having to spray my legs with Pam in order to slide them on).  So my resolution.  Bake when I feel like baking.  Enjoy a little and share a bunch.  I mean really, does my family  need 2 dozen cookies (emphasis on the need, want they just might)?!

Here’s the how to.  A small bio-pak container for a brownie dessert for the family next door.  A simple white box (with a circle label explaining it all) for an elderly friend.  A berry box in a cellophane bag for the teachers’ room or office break room.  All perfect (and stylish) ways to share.

If you’re looking for something sweet to add to your baking repertoire try these Rolo cookies I found at This Week for Dinner which came from A Greatfull Day (have to give props where props are due!).  They are beyond decadent and incredibly easy (and fun) to make.

Enjoy all that life has to offer.  Do it with moderation.  And add a little Garnish.

Garnish + Enjoy

handle-with-care

Let’s face it, we live in a fast-paced world. High speed this, quicker-than-the-speed-of-light that, oh and by the way…NOW!

There’s this amazing place in every town. Usually found at the main crossroads, been around for centuries. Folks, it’s the good ol’ post office otherwise known as snail mail. And I gotta tell ya, it’s kind of a neat place.
Where am I going with all this you ask? Because yes, I do have one. Folks, I present you with the Care Package. (more…)

Have you ever heard of a gourmet club? Because I hadn’t until I heard from Amber letting us know how she added a little Garnish. Seems that this gourmet club thingy needs a new chapter in my town. I mean really, good food, good friends and, unless it’s your turn, no work. I seriously need to look into this!

Amber and her friend decided to send out their invitations in our small kraft rectangle box filled with some jelly beans to go along with the invite. I mean seriously, if someone sent me an invite accompanied with jelly beans I would clear my schedule. Curiosity would take over as I wonder what great things await me and how one will top jelly beans in my invitation! (more…)

I hope you have enjoyed our series of wedding Garnishes. Of course these are only a taste of what can be done! My goal was to jump start your creative juices and help you all realize “hey, I can do that!”. Everyone wants their wedding to be special. Personalizing your big day is a symbol of your love for each other and for those around you. By creating unique wedding favors and decor your wedding will definitely stand out.

I conclude this series with one of our little white boxes. A little larger than your engagement sparkle came in (well, unless you got some serious bling!), this rectangle white box would make a lovely home for a favor on the larger size. I couldn’t resist decorating a few clear acetate boxes as well. ‘Enjoy’ seems to say it all!

Don’t forget the beauty of Garnish. Our products are blank canvases awaiting your customization. All of these ideas can be adjusted to suit any occasion. Draw your inspiration from the things you love, magazines and the world of cyber-space. Trust me when I say how amazed you’ll be when you realize how easy adding a little Garnish is, and how delighted you’ll feel at the glory of your work.

How do you plan to Garnish? We’d love to know!

Wishing you happy (wedding) days and happy Garnishes!

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophisticiation” – Leonardo DaVinci

This quote embodies these pictures perfectly. Once again our customers are Wowing us with their creativity. See, we all do have it inside of us…you just need to let it out!

Pamela chose to house her Valentine Garnishes for her son’s teacher and principal inside our rectangle white bakery box and tied it with some red and white twine. I wonder which one they enjoyed more, the packaging or the cupcakes! Robyn treated her party guests to fresh cinnamon rolls tucked inside our square white bakery box. Imagine their delight when they nibbled on the decadence while reading the Sunday paper!

We love to hear how you Garnish so keep on letting us know!
